Introduction

STL Partners’ New Digital Economics Executive Brainstorm & Developer Forum AMERICAS will take place from 5-7 April in Silicon Valley, California. New Digital Economics brings together 4 events in 1 venue, co-locating the Telco 2.0, Digital Entertainment 2.0, Mobile Apps 2.0 and Personal Data 2.0 summits.

Building on output from the 10th and 11th Telco 2.0, Privacy and Digital Entertainment 2.0 Executive Brainstorms in Los Angeles and London and new market research and analysis from STL Partners, it focuses on new growth opportunities at the intersection of Communications, Media and Entertainment.

"93% of strategy execs said that exploring new business models is as important in this current economic climate as cutting costs and retaining customers."
STL Partners Brainstorm Participant Survey

Event Focus

The Communications, Media and Entertainment (CME) ecosystem is becoming more complex as the business models of different players converge and collide. New Digital Economics is a premium strategy event focused on new growth opportunities and business models for CME. These key themes will be explored in each of the co-located events and participants will be able to share experiences in combined brainstorming sessions.

"The best media and telecom event I have been to in many years. Simply put, the presentations were cutting edge and the networking high value."
Thomas Sachson, Co-Founder & CEO, BoxTop Solutions

Unique Interactive Format

STL Partners’ unique interactive format, called "Mindshare", gathers together representatives from across the communications, media, internet and technology sectors to explore opportunities to exploit telecoms assets and capabilities to grow business in the digital economy. It is run as a large scale structured brainstorm comprising roughly: 30% Stimulus presentations; 22% Interactive brainstorming with peers; 13% Panel discussions; 35% Networking.

Participants

Up to 500 participants including around 200 specially invited senior execs from across the telecoms, media, entertainment, internet and enterprise technology sectors in the brainstorm and 300 developers in the co-located AppCircus showcase.

"5 out of 5. Much better than normal industry events. Focused on brainstorming, not vendors pitching us solutions."
Jeremy Butteriss, VP IPTV, Rogers Communications
