Bob Brace, Senior Analyst, STL Partners

Bob is currently working with STL Partners as Senior Analyst, researching Cloud 2.0 for Telco's and supporting the STL team on the various Telco 2.0 initiatives.

Prior to working with STL Partners, Bob was Head of Cloud Services for Vodafone Business Services setting the cloud strategy and developing a wide range of SaaS and PaaS solutions such as Location Based Services; Vodafone Hosted Services and Vodafone Cloud based telephony as well as launching and integrating with partner solutions such as Microsoft Office 365 and Google Apps for Vodafone operating companies and worldwide partner network.

Prior to joining Vodafone he founded an independent consultancy to advise clients on emerging and new technologies in the areas of Mobility, Convergence, Security, IP Networking, and Unified Communications.

Bob also worked for Nokia in several senior roles including VP of Marketing for their enterprise division. He has also founded and worked for several other high tech US and EU based start-ups and began his career with BT.

Speaking on topics such as convergence, security, mobile enterprise, usability, wireless and networking technologies, Bob has been a speaker at: The Economist E-Business and The Wall Street Journal Europe conferences, IDC Forum, UK AEB E-Business Summit, IECC conferences, Gartner Symposiums, CESG forum. Guest broadcast appearances: BBC World (BBC America), BBC News24, BBC 1; Sky News (Fox US); CNBC Europe, Asia and US; BBC Asia, CNN Asia edition; BBC World Service Radio; British Airways In-flight Radio.

Bob is a keen cyclist and teaches yoga in his spare time.
