Speaker Biography

 

Alex Jinivizian, Head of Enterprise Strategy, Verizon Enterprise Solutions

Alex Jinivizian has responsibility for the strategic direction of Verizon's enterprise business. This includes overall strategy for Verizon Enterprise Solutions, and cloud strategy for Terremark, a Verizon company.

Jinivizian joined Verizon (then MCI) in 2003 as head of EMEA strategy and business development, with specific responsibility for the company's European mobility strategy, including commercial activity with strategic partners around the company's mobility, VoIP, and unified communications portfolios. He then looked after the company's global communications applications product strategy and roadmap. Most recently, he has had responsibility for regional, business and product strategies relating to cloud and converged services, including activity directly related to the acquisitions of Terremark and CloudSwitch in 2011.

In his career, Jinivizian also spent several years in a number of senior sales, marketing and business development roles at Cable & Wireless, and spent several years in Moscow developing government and commercial relationships.

Jinivizian holds a BA (Hons) in Russian Language and Literature from the University of London, and a MA in International Relations from the University of Reading.
