Alex Jones, Senior Manager, Emerging Technologies, British Gas

Alex Jones is a senior manager in the Emerging Technologies group at British Gas; leading the Connected Homes and Businesses team. He helped establish the group 18 months ago which acts as the business’ eyes and ears for new technology. The team defines medium to long-term technology strategy, scans and scouts for partnerships & investments and develops new technology concepts for all areas of the business.

Alex joined British Gas with a background in technology consulting, customer experience strategy and product innovation for blue-chip multinationals across telecoms, utilities and consumer electronics industries.
