Speaker Biography

 

Kim Bybjerg, Head of Northern Europe  M2M, Vodafone.

Kim Bybjerg has broad experience in Business and Executive Management and in particular driving cross-cultural organizations to excellent results and innovative growth and is a recent addition to the market leading Vodafone M2M team. He leads the strategy and sales for M2M in the Northern European regions which include the UK, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, France and Nordics. Kim is responsible for defining Vodafone’s strategy in the M2M market for these regions and under his leadership the company is already increasing market share which has contributed to Vodafone’s status as an industry leader in the M2M market.

Kim is originally Danish but has worked in various international positions since he entered the IT and Telecommunications business in 1988.

Prior to his current role in Vodafone Kim has worked for known IT- and Telecom companies such as KPN, Siemens, IBM, AT&T and Orange (France Telecom group). His international experience includes a variety of management occupations from VP Marketing & Sales, EMEA to various Managing Director positions. Kim is currently living with his family in The Netherlands but has previously lived in Denmark, Germany and Russia (Moscow).

Kim will elaborate on the unique international proposition Vodafone has built around helping its customers using M2M to transform their business and to develop their business into new areas.
