Speaker Biography

 

Nicolas de Cordes, Vice President Marketing Vision, Orange France Telecom Group

Nicolas de Cordes has been in the telecom industry for 17 years, and is today Vice President of Marketing Vision for the Orange-France Telecom Group, in charge of identifying future business opportunities in the consumer market.

Orange – France Telecom Group, is a large convergent telecommunication company, operating in many countries in Europe, Middle-east and Africa.  It has a customer base of above 200 Mio users and a turnover of about 45 Bn Euro.

Nicolas joined the group 7 years ago in London where he headed the Mobile strategy practice before moving to Paris to lead the Group Strategy team covering all lines of business. Prior to that Nicolas was head of consumer marketing with Mobistar, the Belgian mobile subsidiary of Orange.

Before his time with the Orange - France Telecom Group, Nicolas has been working as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and with Accenture.
He is also co-founder of DigitalForming a Mass customisation 3D printing service startup.
